Kids Fun Run

Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under. Parents can run with their children but cannot register for the Kid's Fun Run. Kids will receive a finisher medal, bag, t-shirt, and bib.

Virtual 5K

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. We will do a LIVE feed on our Instagram account - @stripesofawarrior on January 24th, at 8:45AM. You will be able to watch our opening ceremony and participate in our 5K Race Start as well as our Kid's Run.

After you sign up and after our official 5K on January 24th, we will ship your t-shirt, bag, and medal.

Course

The run will start and finish between Shelter 4 and 5, near the restroom, in the large open field inside the Park. The start and finish is on the grass, the rest of the race is on the paved sidewalk. The course runs through the beautiful Yorba Regional Park. The route is paved and stroller friendly. There will be Mile markers along the route, and if you are WALKING the 5K course, please stay as far to the right on the course as possible. Strollers, and dogs are welcome!

The 5K is chip timed and your individual timer starts and stops as soon as you cross over the START/FINISH line, so no matter where you are in the line-up you can have a winning time.

Awards

Top 3 Male and Female winners in each age division will receive an additional medal.
Runners may claim their medals at the awards table as soon as the results are posted. Only the Top 3 Male and Female Overall 5K winners will be formally announced.

Race Packet Pickup

A bag including your t-shirt, Bib number, and additional goodies is given to each registrant at day of packet pick up, if you cannot make it we will be giving them out on race morning as well.

Packet Pick up is Thursday January 22nd from 12pm-8pm, location - Lamppost Pizza and the Post Pub (off of Richfield). If you are unable to attend the pre-race pick-up then you can check-in and receive your bib and bag at the race between 7:30am-8:45am.

Raffle and Silent Action

At race packet pick-up we will also be having a Raffle and Silent Auction. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each and is open at the packet pick-up on Thursday and the winners will be displayed at the Raffle/Silent Auction Tent right after the race, please check our board to see if you won. The Silent Auction bidding and Raffle will continue to be open until the race STARTS. If you win an item in the Silent Auction we will ask you to pay directly following the race. Again please check to see if you won after the race is over. Winners will NOT be announced over the speaker system.

Vendor Fair

Before and after the race join us for a Vendor/Sponsor Fair and enjoy getting to know our community and Charity at the open field located by the Start and Finish line. Who doesn't like free stuff?!

Parking

Parking will be available through out the whole park. Parking is also available across the street. Please allow ample time to park, walk to the start, use the restroom, stretch, and warm-up.

T-Shirts

T-Shirts are from sizes SMALL to XXL, shirts are unisex and youth size medium is also available. Sign up early to guarantee your shirt size. If the T-shirt question is no longer visible when you registered it is because we already placed our t-shirt order and can no longer guarantee a specific shirt size to you.
