Event Description
The Woodland Turkey Trot is gearing up to become your favorite Thanksgiving morning tradition—and it all supports Yolo Food Bank. Yolo Food Bank provides resources to the 1/3 of county residents who are food insecure.
Runners and walkers of every age can join the fun with race distances for kids and adults throughout the city of Woodland. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or strolling with family, kick off your holiday with fitness, laughter, and community spirit! Can’t make it in person? Trot virtually in your own neighborhood and still make a difference.

We suggest you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the event start
A brief medal ceremony will occur after the conclusion of the race. If you are not present to receive your medal, you will need to come to Yolo Food Bank offices in order to collect it.

FAQ's
Yes strollers are allowed on the course during any of the race routes. Children in strollers do not need to pay for entry for the event.
No we are not allowing pets on the race course at this event. Well-behaved pets are allowed at the registration area but must be on a leash at all times
Entry provides a t-shirt and finisher medal
Early packet pickup will be held at Blue Note Brewery on Saturday, November 22nd from 12-5pm. More information will be provided by email to registered runners.
Yes, there is race-day registration availalable at the Late Registration price of $60
Limited parking will be available at the Woodland Community and Senior Center. Other parking will be available on surrounding parking lots and streets
The start and finish lines will be positioned at the Woodland Community and Senior Center
There will be water stations both at the Woodland Community and Senior Center and along the course for race participants to use.
Yes there are restrooms available at registration and along the course
The race will happen rain or shine!
Alcoholic beverages cannot be consumed at the event. Feel free to stop by Blue Note Brewing after the race to celebrate!
Yolo Food Bank will accept donations of funds or canned/dry goods at the event. We have plenty of oppurtunities to also support us through volunteering or sponsorship efforts.
