Tacos & Tequila 5k

Like Tacos?  Like Tequila?  How about a fiesta during and after?  You have found the right race!

Welcome to the 5th annual Tacos & Tequila 5k hosted by Performance Race Services at Gwinnett Stripers Stadium.

This year we will offer various taco vendors for you to chose from.

This race supports local Lawrenceville Co-Op who feeds over 350 families per week (visit them at www.lawrencevilleco-op.org ) with a portion of of your registration fee being donated.  Please also consider making either a $ donation during sign up or an item donation race day to help.  As we go into summer, there are many in our community that are in need and would be greatly helped by your generosity.

Tacos & Tequila 5k with Performance Race Services along with your help has donated $20,000 to the Lawrenceville Co-Op over the past 4 years.  THANK YOU!

SWAG: 

Runners who sign up before the shirt cut off will receive a blend t-shirt, and EVERY runners will receive a custom Tacos & Tequila 5k medal, 2 tacos, chips with salsa and 1 Margarita (or lemonade if under 21).  *You can purchase more food or drinks if you like.

**Plus you are going to get the coveted TNT Sombreo when you cross the finish line!

**Once shirts are ordered, we will update the inventory in the registration site, if you are unable to choose the size you want, you can either choose a different size or First Come Frist Serve after the race to see if your size is available.  If you choose a different size you can try to exchange after the race.  After the race will be First Come First Serve or exchanges. 

AWARDS:  

Top 3 Overall M and F finishers, Master Top 3 M and F along with top 3 M and F in the below age groups:  

1-10, 11-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Also, Awards for the Best Costume, Doggie Costume and Best Mexican Grito scream. 

RACE INFORMATION:

*Please note, everyone who is 21 and over will be issued a drink band on race day with ID verification (Volunteers will put on) and the band MUST be worn to receive your drink after the race.  

*Your Bib will have TWO tear off tickets, one for your tacos and one for your drink.  Please don't lose them.

DATE:  Saturday 05/02/2026

RACE START TIME: 11:00AM (course shuts down at 1:00PM) and the Fiesta part goes to 5:00PM

*Music/Fiesta start time at 9:00AM

START LOCATION:  In front of Main Entrance of Gwinnett Stripers

EARLY PACKET PICK UP: Friday 05/01: Big Peach Running - Suwanee from 5 -  7PM

DAY OF RACE PACKET PICK UP:  Saturday 05/02: Starting at 9:30am at the Gwinnett Stripers Stadium - 2500 Buford Dr, Lawrenceville, GA 30043

RESTROOMS: Located inside stadium
