Aiden's Light Mind/Matter 5K Obstacle Course Cancelled
We made the heartbreaking decision to cancel this year's obstacle course due to lack of registrations and now the Corona Virus situation. We decided to cancel instead of postpone due to lack of uncertainty of the future right now. If you would like a refund of your registration fee please let us know.
We are sorry and hope that we can accomplish this event next year.

Description
The Mind Over Matter Obstacle Course is designed to challenge the body and the mind as you conquer your "I cant’s" and choose to honor these kids who are fighting DIPG and other forms of brain tumors. What better way to challenge yourself and honor the body God has blessed you with by conquering each obstacle on the course! Kids can join in on the fun also! The course has obstacles ranging from easy to slightly challenging.
The Aiden’s Light Mind Over Matter Obstacle Course was created in honor of our daughter Aiden Taunton and other kids like her that battled or are currently battling DIPG. Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma is a terminal pediatric brain-stem tumor that takes away a child’s abilities such as running, walking, sitting, the use of their arms and legs, talking, hearing, seeing until eventually it takes their life.
Brain Tumors remain the most common cause of cancer-related death in children and DIPG is the leading cause of death from pediatric brain tumors. Any form of brain cancer/tumor in any human being especially a child is like watching a nightmare become a reality. But what our family learned through our daughter’s diagnosis is that hope, will power, faith and the ability to overcome is much stronger than any brain tumor.
