3rd Annual Hot Dog Mile

It’s like a beer mile, but with hot dogs! 4 hot dogs, 4 quarter mile laps, hopefully no puking and some beers at the end. A great hang-out to support dogs, eat hot dogs, have some beers and enjoy a lovely Sunday at Eastern Market Brewing Co!

The Hot Dog Mile is an annual event celebrating hot dogs and regular dogs, dreamed up by the runners of Eastern Market Brewing Run Club. Participants eat four dogs and run four 1/4 mile laps- it’s as simple as that! All proceeds after race costs are donated to Detroit Dog Rescue!

The race/hot dog celebration runs from 11-2, with three waves starts every 45 minutes. Choose your start time when registering.

Motor City Frank’s hot dogs will also be on site for spectators to grab a dog while they watch!

Additionally, this year we will be raffling off hot dog, running, and dog related items to raise additional funds to donate. Raffle tickets are included with both racer and spectator ticket packages, and additional tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
