PLOT TWIST......Moving to the Spring for 2024.

Racing in the DARK?

We are moving this event to an overnight event for 2024. NCARS will be back at Lake James State Park for this years event again. At the edge of the Linville Gorge area of North Carolina. Racers will also have the option to register (separately) for an 8 hour race before and / or an 8 hour race after (Sunday).

This will be our 5th year at this site and we look forward to offering another great time in the great outdoors. As with all of our races, we like to offer racers a little bit of everything. This race will be no different: a bushwhacking O-course, single track and some road mountain bike riding, and some scenic paddling. If you have participated in one of our races then you know we like to make it challenging yet suited for every skill level. Plus this years event will take place at night.
