Cancellation Notice – Strides for Diabetes 2K Walk / 4K Run
Dear Strides Participants
Thank you for registering for the Strides for Diabetes 2K Walk / 4K Run hosted by the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department and the Merrimack Lions Club, originally scheduled for Saturday, November 8th.
It is with sincere regret that we must inform you that the event has been canceled due to low registration numbers. Unfortunately, we reached the deadline to order T-shirts and other event supplies without having sufficient participation to make the race viable.
We are currently working with RunSignup to process full refunds, including credit card transaction fees. You should see the refund reflected in your account within the next week or so.
We truly appreciate your interest and support, and we hope you’ll consider joining us for future community events.

Come and join the Merrimack Lions Club and Merrimack Parks and Recreation for the Strides for Diabetes Awareness event — a 2K Walk/4K Run dedicated to raising awareness about diabetes and supporting those affected by it.
Whether you're a runner, a walker, or simply passionate about making a difference, this family-friendly event welcomes all ages and abilities. In addition to the walk/run, enjoy a health fair featuring local vendors, free health screenings, and diabetes education and resources to help you and your loved ones stay informed and empowered.

Race Proceeds will benefit American Diabetes Association Camp Carefree at Lions Camp Pride in New Durham NH; helping children with diabetes experience the joy of summer camp in a safe and supportive environment.
