Here are the obstacles you can expect on our course on March 9th.

SPIDER CRAWL: Stay low and move quickly to avoid getting caught in this web.

FEISTY FENCE: Get up and over the fences to keep running.

DELICATE BALANCE: The floor is lava  and the only way across is to balance.

SLOTH HANG: Hang like a sloth (using both hands and feet) from the metal beam and pull all the way across. This one’s
tricky, so there will be soft mats to catch any racer who doesn’t make it to the end.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: Get across without getting caught in the wires.

SLANTED WALL: Racers will need to use both their feet and hands to make it up and over this obstacle.

TIRE RUN: Run across, stepping into the tires.

RIGHT ON TARGET: Throw a ball into a small cornhole target. Racers get 3 shots. They can keep running as soon as they hit
the target, or if no shots go in, then as soon as they complete all three throws.

LAVA JUMPS: The floor is lava! Jump across a wide area, stepping only on designated squares.

RESCUE CARRY: Pick up and carry a weight from one point to another. Kids aged 4-5 will receive a smaller weight, while
kids aged 6+ will carry a 12lb water bag (to simulate rescuing a pet or baby).

NOTE: If racers cannot complete any of the challenges, we’ll ask them to ‘pay a penalty’ to keep running.
Racers aged 4-5 will do jumping jacks and those aged 6+ will do burpees. We’ll explain and show the
movements to all racers before they start their run.
