2025 Registration Notes and Changes:
- The McKinney 250 - We are making some big changes to this route, and more details will follow. The goal is for all of you who enter this to complete this in 2025.
- McKinney 250 Race Bible
We are currently looking at course changes to be able to include, gas stations, 24-hour restaurants, and using Fire Depts or other public areas to have access to more bag drops. - Cars will not be allowed to follow the entire race in 2025. We will provide addresses to pre-determined bag drops/locations where support crews can check in with riders and do wellness checks.
- ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE LIVE TRACKING. We are partnering with Track My Challenge USA to provide real-time tracking for those who like to just DOT watch. We have tested the trackers and can confirm they will work throughout the course. You can obtain your tracking HERE
- Cost to Participants for Tracking:If you have your own device, spot, in reach, etc the cost per rider is $15.00 that can be paid when you register your device directly to Track My Challenge USA at this LINK.
- If you do not have your own device and need to rent a device, that cost is $37.50 and can be paid when you register directly with Track My Challenge USA at this LINK.
- We will be using SPOT trackers due to the SOS function. Please ensure that if you use your own tracker, you have SOS capabilities. Participants will need to purchase 4 - AAA Lithium Batteries for their trackers.

- The McClintock Route - 100(ish) mile Route NotesThis route will be GPS ONLY. We do not plan to mark this route in 2025.
This is subject to Change - Colonel Drake, Ironworks, Standard Oil, and Ida Tarbell Routes will all be marked for 2025.
- We encourage all athletes to choose the category that they feel will give them the greatest challenge but a huge sense of accomplishment upon completion!
We plan to limit the 4th edition of the RGR to 400 participants, so register early to guarantee your spot and avoid price increases.

All Races will be started on a gun time, meaning each person will be given the same start time. While you will cross a timing mat at the start, this is for participant tracking only.
All participants will receive a custom finishers medal upon completion.
We reserve the right to combine categories if at least 10 participants are not in a given category.
Come join us in the Valley that changed the world! Titusville is home of the Modern Production Oil Well, Drake Well. On every route, you will get to experience some of the same gravel roads that the Roughnecks working in the oil fields experienced then and now!

We will again start at the Titusville Ironworks. From here, all 6 unique routes will roll out of Titusville with a police escort, It will be less than one mile until you are on the gravel.
All of the routes will boast an 80% or more gravel-to-pavement ratio, traveling some very remote dirt roads. Where likely the most traffic you will see will be the wildlife. Every route will travel past historic oil sites, abandoned oil wells, and other unique vistas in the area.
The McKinney: The McKinney 250 is going to be an epic route, for those of you looking for the ultimate epic adventure!
We are currently finalizing the permitting for this route. This route will be approximately 250 miles +/- 5 miles. There will be significant climbing, greater than 20,000 feet of gain. In 202,5 this route will be one continuous loop with a mid-way checkpoint.
The McClintock - Named after the oldest continuously producing oil well, McClintock Well #1. This will be the longest route. This route will have 4 aid stations, one of which will be at the Historic McClintock well site, then it will meander its way to the Allegheny River before heading north.
Ridewithgps Route
The Colonel Drake - Named after Colonel Edwin Drake, who was the first to drill a modern producing oil well. This will be the second longest route and will not be less than a Metric Century or 62 miles. This route will have 3 aid stations, one of which will be at the historic Pithole Musuem.

The Ironworks - Named after the historic Titusville Ironworks , which was founded in 1860 and built machinery specifically for the oil fields. The building is home now to the Ironworks Taphouse and will be home to our registration site! This route will be approximately 42 miles in distance, again boasting greater than 95% of the route as pure Northwest PA Gravel!
Ridewithgps Route
The Standard Oil ~25 mile is coming in 2023. There was a lot of request for this route to graduate folks from the 12 to the 40 mile. We are all about helping participants conquer and crush new goals!
RidewithGPA Route
The Ida Tarbell - so named after the Investigative Journalist Ida Tarbell. This route is specifically designed for those of you who are gravel curious. This route will be a two-way trip, coming back through the finish line. Of that 12.1 miles, 10 of it will be pure gravel. Then, once you get to the historic Petroleum Center, you will hop aboard the historic Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad for a train ride back to the start finish party. Your train ticket is included in your registration.
Ridewithgps Route
At the finish line, The Titusville Ironworks Tap House will be bringing down their newly expanded facility converted to take care of all your post-race hydration needs. Partnered with The Magic Bus, who will be providing food for the race festivities. Your food vouchers will also be able to be used at the new Pie Works in the Ironworks as well as other participating restaurants in the city!
