Description
Join us for the 4th annual Ranger Ruck! Ruck, run, or walk this scenic 6.1 mile (10K) route beginning at the UWSP Marshfield Clinic Champions Hall and winding your way through Schmeeckle Reserve and back on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Participants have the option to ruck (with weighted pack), run, or walk this event. Ruck weight is 35 pounds.
Prizes will be given to the top 3 finishers of the Ruck category as well as the top 3 finishers of the Run/Walk category. Vendor fair to follow the event - more details on vendors to come this summer! All participants receive an event t-shirt as well as a goody bag upon packet pick up. All funds and fundraising for this event go towards our Cadets to participate in the 2025 Army Ten Miler in Washington DC.
New this year - We have tickets to enter to win an autographed Green Bay Packers football, signed by the 2024 players and coaching staff. Tickets can be purchased through the registration link and in person at the event. Drawing will be held during awards after the ruck and winner does NOT need to be present to win!

Event Details & Course Map
Packet pick-up will be held on Saturday September 13th from 8AM-8:45AM
The posting of Colors and the National Anthem will be at approximately 8:57AM.
The ruck/run/walk will begin promptly at 9AM.
The vendor fair will run from approximately 9:45AM through 2PM.
Awards and the drawing for the autographed Green Bay Packers football will be presented once all participants have crossed the finish line.
We will go over the course route between packet pick-up and the National Anthem and we will have a large printed map at packet pick-up. Each participant packet will also have a printed course map in it.
We will have numerous Cadets and UWSP Hockey players on course to assist in crossing streets and keep participants on course in the right direction. The map is posted here as well. Please note this is an OUT & BACK route. You will start and finish near Coleman Track. You will complete TWO lake loops around Schmeeckle.
