Gorilla Dash 5k

The 2024 Gorilla Dash 5k on April 13, 2024, is a community run/walk fundraiser where all proceeds go to benefit the SFC Forrest Robertson Scholarship. This scholarship honors SFC Forrest Robertson, a former Pittsburg State University Military Science instructor and alumni, who was killed in Afghanistan in November 2013. This scholarship now greatly benefits ROTC cadets attending Pittsburg State University who are aspiring to be future leaders in the U.S. Army. The event will begin at 10 a.m. with the race starting at 11 a.m. Feel free to come early to check out local businesses, PSU clubs, activities, and food.
