POUND the PAVEMENT for PILOT 5K & FUN RUN

The Pilot Club of Denham Springs invites you to be a part of Pound the Pavement for Pilot 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run. Our mission is to transform communities by developing youth, providing service, education and uplifting families. Pilots focus on providing projects and services which help those with special needs and brain related disorders.

Our event kicks off at 8am, rain or shine, with the 1 Mile Fun Run followed by the 5K. When you register for the 5K, you are registered for the 1 Mile Fun Run but only the kiddos can win the 1 mile!

Proceeds from our events are used to fund projects such as:

• Kidz Korner Playland
• “Challengers” ballfield for children with special needs
• Mighty Moms
• Assess the Need
• Fans for the elderly through Livingston Parish Council on Aging
• Denham Springs High Project Graduation
• Louisiana Association for Challenged Adults, Inc
• Honoring veterans @ nursing homes on Veteran’s Day
• Sponsoring DSHS Anchor Club
• Brain-Minders puppet show for youth
• Yearly Pilot Club scholarship for a DSHA graduate
• PAES Labs for special needs students at three area schools
• Recent projects: 5-10 year plans to add playground equipment to our parish elementary schools 

As you can see, the Pilots are always looking for ways to help others and our community. Your support goes to help continue these most worthy projects.

Municipal Oaks Pavilion, 941Government Street, Denham Springs, LA 70726 

Shirt Guarantee

The deadline to register is Sunday, November 9 2025 by midnight to receive an event shirt.  Any registration after this time, an event shirt will not be guaranteed.

Packet Pickup

Pickup will be available

• Friday, November 14 from 3 - 5:30 pm at Covington & Associates, 1110 S. Range Ave.
• At the race, from 7 - 8 am

Awards

Awards will be given 3 deep in all age groups:

• Overall Male and Female
• Masters (40 - 49)
• Grand Masters (50 & over) Male and Female

Fun Run Awards will be given to:

• Top 3 runners ages 12 & under

The age groups are as follows for 5K:

• 14 & Under
• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60 & up
