As shown on the Race Route graphic, the starting/finish line will be on Ryan Street.
You will line up on the NORTH side of the finish line.
The first turn is a RIGHT TURN at the Old Calcasieu Marine Bank, now an event center.
After that, just follow the guides.
And don't forget....This is a GLEAUX RUN!
It's a CELEBRATION of Lake Charles!

The ChuckFAST FridayNite 5K has finally returned!!
Kick off Chuck Fest weekend with a glowing celebration of community, culture, and cardio at the ChuckFAST GleauxRun 5K & 1Mile FunRun, happening the night before the big festival in Downtown Lake Charles! It all supports the Arts & Humanities Council of SWLA, so you’re running for a great cause.
We are turning up the energy with the most vibrant race Southwest Louisiana has seen with full-on GleauxRun — because in SWLA, we don’t just Glow… we GLEAUX!
Runners will score some serious swag, including a specially designed ChuckFest GleauxRun T-shirt and Glow Gear to keep you shining every step of the way.
Both the timed 5K and the 1-mile FunRun wind through the heart of Downtown Lake Charles and its beautiful historic neighborhoods complete with a DJ pickup truck leading the way, neon vibes, like a true Louisiana-style PARADE on foot!
And at the finish line? The reward is worth every step — delicious local food, cold drinks, and the kind of good times only SWLA can serve up. The 5K is a timed event with specialty Finisher medals. So lace up, glow up, and laissez les bon temps rouler at the ChuckFest GleauxRun!

The mission of the Arts & Humanities Council of SWLA is to support arts and culture initiatives, events, and organizations throughout our five-parish region. The Council works to bring vibrant cultural experiences and an enhanced quality of life to our local communities while also strengthening tourism and economic growth. Their mission is clear: to expand, enrich, and strengthen the diverse cultural heritage of Southwest Louisiana. Every step you take during the GleauxRun helps carry that mission forward.
The ChuckFAST GleauxRun 5K & 1M FunRun is proudly organized by House of Sole and Race Pace Multisport, two local organizations passionate about fitness, community, and keeping SWLA’s cultural heartbeat strong.

Registration Notes

Children in strollers are not charged a registration fee. They will not be timed nor qualify for awards. If your child wants to be timed/scored and qualify for awards, they must be registered and wear the assigned race Bib.

We have a no refund policy so please consider your registration a donation.

Registrants pay a processing fee and all applicable taxes.
T-shirts
Shirts and correct shirt sizes are guaranteed to registered participants who register by September 29, 2025. If you register after this date, you may not receive a shirt or you may not receive the sized shirt requested.
