Pelican Triathlon

Kids & Adult Beginner Triathlon  

If you are looking for a race to ease you into the sport of triathlon or want to introduce your child to the sport then the Pelican Triathlon is for you.

Kids distances are 100 yd swim/3 mile bike/ 1K run.

Adult distances are 200 yd swim/ 6 mile bike / 2 mile run.

The swim will be in the lazy river. The bike will be a (1) 3-mile loop for kids and a (2) 3-mile loop for the adults. The run course will be on SPAR property for easy spectating. Great shirts for registering and plenty of good food and drink for the after party. See you there. Come tri with us!

Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates):

Kids Tri  -   Now till 8/1/25     -  $40

             8/2/25 till 8/22/25     -   $45

Adult Tri  -  Now till 8/1/25     -  $50

            8/2/25 till 8/22/25       -  $55

5:30 AM to 6:30 AM Athlete check‐in ADULT race

5:40 AM to 6:40 AM Transition open for ADULT race

6:45 AM to 6:55 AM PRE-race briefing for ADULT race

7:00 AM - ADULT race starts

8:15 AM 8:45 AM Adult awards

7:30 AM to 8:30 AM Kids Race check-in

When the  last Adult athlete starts the run course, Transition opens for the Kids Triathlon

8:50 AM to 9:00 AM Kids PRE-race briefing

9:00 AM Kids Race Starts

10:00 AM - Kids awards

Race day Packet Pickup starts at SPAR 5:30-6:30 am for adults and 8:00 - 8:30 am for kids.

Age Groups:

6-8, 9-11, 12-14 for kids. 

15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+ for adults

Awards:  1st, 2nd,3rd, Male & Female for each age group.
