Stride for Education Virtual 5K Run/Walk & School Supply Drive

Join us from wherever you are for the "Stride for Education Virtual 5K Run/Walk," a community event bringing people together from near and far to support our local students, teachers, and "Just Because We Care," our beloved local nonprofit organization.

When: March 1st, 2024 - March 31st, 2024

Where: Anywhere! This is a virtual event that you can complete in your neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, or even on a treadmill.

Race Details: Chart your own 5K course and complete it at your own pace. Whether you're an early bird who catches the sunrise or a night owl who enjoys the evening breeze, you can run or walk at the time that suits you best within the event's date range.

Team Up: Encourage others to join the cause by forming virtual teams. Rally your friends, family, or coworkers, no matter where they are, to sign up and participate. Share your progress and team spirit on social media to inspire others and build a sense of community. School Supply Drive: In addition to the virtual run/walk, we're organizing a school supply drive. Participants can contribute by purchasing items from our Amazon Wishlist or by making a monetary donation, which will be used to purchase supplies directly for those in need.

Registration: Register online to join the virtual race. Upon registration, you'll receive a digital race packet with a printable bib, instructions for tracking and submitting your time, and information on how to participate in the school supply drive. Awards: We'll be recognizing participants with virtual awards for creativity in course design, most funds raised, largest team, and best social media engagement.
