Fundraising Examples

Fundraisers in this event have the ability to customize the look and feel of their own fundraising page to help tell their story about why they're helping raise money. Your fundraising page can be edited to include a slideshow of up to 10 images at the top, a profile picture to show the world who you are, and a text area to help tell your own story and why you're raising money.

Follow these simple steps to create and enhance your fundraiser page.

Step 1. During registration, become a fundraiser and create a simple fundraising page by adding your profile photo, set your goal, and edit the existing Megan's Wings story or tell your own story of why you wish to fundraise.

Step 2. After you finish registering, log back into your account profile using to add pictures to your slideshow or edit your story to enhance your fundraising page.

Step 3. Easily share your fundraising page with loved ones on Facebook by clicking the facebook link or email your link out to friends, family, and co-workers!

We're including a few images of a fundraising page that makes use of all of the features so you can get some ideas for how you might like to tell your own story.

Slide Show Images

Stan's fundraising page is making use of the slide show that appears at the top of your fundraising page. If you log into your fundraiser through your RunSignup account, you'll be able to add and edit these 5 images to create a compelling visual story for your fundraising page. Notice the pen and paper icon in the upper right-hand corner, this would be how you could add or edit your own images.

Profile Picture

Stan has also included a profile picture for his page. This helps people identify his page as his own. A personal touch is always important.

Story

Stan has also included a personalized story for his page. He is telling the world, in his own words, why he is raising money. He has also added a fundraising goal for himself. You can see that goal and his progress in that thermometer bar at the top of his page.
