Where Naval Special Warfare Began

The Museum tells the story of Naval Special Warfare from the very beaches where it was born. The deeds and actions of the predecessors of today’s Navy SEALs established benchmarks against which military Special Operations continue to be measured.

Along the coastline of Fort Pierce, where the Navy SEAL Museum stands today, tightly knit groups of men trained for war before taking their skills, courage, and determination around the world with one goal in mind: “Win at any cost.”

They cleared the way for others to follow, driven by devotion to their teammates and their country. Today’s Navy SEALs continue that legacy, keeping constant vigil around the globe in defense of our freedom.

Beach and Museum Grounds

We extend our sincere gratitude to our beach lifeguards for helping provide a safe and enjoyable race experience for all participants. In accordance with county beach regulations, dogs are not permitted on the beach during the event. We appreciate your understanding. Because military working dogs will also be present as part of Muster activities, we ask that personal pets remain at home and not be brought onto Museum grounds. Documented service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable requirements. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for all.
