Laurel Park Turkey Day 5K/Fun Run

Join your friends and neighbors for the 17th Annual Laurel Park Turkey Day 5k/Fun Run! This non-competitive charity event is open to everyone. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome.

This year's main charity is the Church of God Children's Home of North Carolina, a local residential group home that provides a positive and safe living environment for children who have experienced neglect, abuse, or dangerous lifestyles. Our donation will be used to help refloor the 5,100 square foot boys' cottage.

We will also be collecting non-perishable items for a local food ministry. More details coming soon.  

Entry Fees*

Adults 13 and up: $30

Children 12 and under: $20

Shirt Only: $20

*Entry fees increase by $5.00 after November 12. 

Register by November 12 to be guaranteed a shirt. Limited shirts available while supplies last. 

In-Person Registration and Packet Pickup

Online registration closes November 24. 

In-person registration and packet pickup will be November 26 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM and November 27 from 7:30 - 8:15 AM at the Laurel Park clubhouse. 

Race Details

Toddler Trot starts at 8:15 AM. No registration required. All participants receive a medal. Use the Shirt Only event to purchase a shirt.    

1 Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30 AM. 

5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 AM.

Cancellation Statement

There are NO refunds of registration fees. This event will occur rain or shine, warm or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a charitable donation. You will also be able to pick up your race packets.
