All proceeds go to providing free Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the residents of South Orange, Maplewood and the surrounding communities.
The South Orange Rescue Squad is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization staffed by volunteers and funded solely by contributions from the community. None of our members are compensated for their work, we receive no taxpayer funding, and never charge a fee for our services.

PACKET PICKUP
Please try to pick up your race bib and T-shirt prior to Sunday. You can pick up for other participants or multiple people

* Third St Garage (part of the Third & Valley apt complex, located off of Third St at the end of Sloan St.
* WaterLands Park (30 West Third St)
* Riverside Lot 6 – (West South Orange Ave at Church St)
* Firehouse Lot 3 – (Between First & Second St. - enter off 2nd Street from Valley)
* Sloan Street Lot 9 – (Sloan and First St.)
ROAD CLOSURES:
The South Orange Police Department will be closing the roads on a rolling basis as runners and walkers enter the various sections of the course. On some of the major roads such as Ridgewood Road and Vose Avenue, the police may keep the opposing lane open to traffic, and runners and walkers will be asked to stay on the right side of the road. They will be making this call based on the amount of runners and the traffic conditions at the time, and everyone will be informed prior to the start of the race.
