Get ready for Medved's most festive event of the season! The Turkey Trot Scavenger Hunt is back on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, and we're bringing the fun to Canandaigua!

Join your fellow runners for a hilarious, holiday-themed adventure starting right at Peacemaker Brewing!

The Game: A Sprint for Stuffing and Points!
 

Our festive course is called The Feast Hunt, and it's a scavenger hunt with a dash of running chaos. You'll navigate checkpoints and complete zany challenges—think plenty of pumpkin-pie and turkey-shaped silliness—as you race the clock to snag points. It's high-energy fun with a holiday twist!

Run, Race, and Raise: Supporting Called to Care
 

More than just a run, this event is a crucial fundraiser for Called to Care, Canandaigua.

Called to Care is an amazing, all-volunteer organization that provides a warm welcome and a complete support network for refugees and displaced persons starting new lives in America. Since December 2022, they've helped families from Ukraine, Haiti, Venezuela, and Guatemala with everything from housing and food to school enrollment and medical care. Your participation directly fuels this life-changing work!

We're kicking off a friendly competition to boost our support:

All donations collected go directly to Called to Care.
The more your team collects, the more we help the community, and the more extra points you'll earn for your team!
The team that brings in the most donations will snag a massive EXTRA bonus point haul!

Team Up or Come Solo (we will pair you up)
 

Each team has space for 5-10 players. You'll choose your team name when you register.

If you are a solo player, select the Free Agent team. All players must register to participate.

The Turkey Trot Scavenger Hunt is a great way to meet new people and make new running friends before the holiday! 

Game Day Details
 

Game day check-in will open at 11:30 AM.
The Games will start promptly at 12:00 PM.
Required: Each team must carry a cell phone and have access to post on the Medved Facebook Group Home Page to earn points.
 

Game Rules
 

In a choose-your-own-adventure scavenger hunt, runners will earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges.
You will receive the scavenger hunt list and area map at check-in on game day.
To claim your points for each location/challenge, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location and post it to the Medved Running & Walking Outfitters Group Facebook Group. (Please make sure you are a member of this group before game day!)
Posts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race times. Any posts made after this time will not be counted.
All participants are required to follow traffic and pedestrian regulations at all times.
 

Bonus Points
 

Earn bonus points by making an additional donation to Called to Care, Canandaigua, click here.
Earn bonus points by dressing up in the theme and the spirit of Thanksgiving (think pilgrims, turkeys, pie slices, or your best movie character dressed for a feast!).
