New Years Day Run & Kids Challenge Course

Our Sixth Annual Utica Roadrunners New Year's Day Membership Run will occur on January 1, 2026 - and this year we are working with The Sneaker Store and Grow Brewery and Stride Coffee! The run is FREE for all who attend - we just ask that you sign-up online. 

This year's events include:

Kids Challenge Course - 9:00 a.m. Forte Fitness, 50 Genesee St., will be hosting a kids obstacle course on their indoor turf. All kids that run will receive a prize and be entered in a raffle for t-shirts. 

3/5 Mile Run/Walk - 10:00 a.m. The run/walk will begin at Grow Brewery/Stride Coffee. Routes will be provided for both distances and volunteers will be along the course to provide assistance. More details about the specific routes will be forthcoming!

UR Member Raffle - any current Utica Roadrunner member (make sure you sign-up or renew before Jan 1st!) will be entered into a raffle for prizes including Saranac Beverages, UR merchandise, gift certificates, and race entries! Just check-in with us when you arrive. If you have a family membership - each family member gets a ticket. If you show up in UR gear (red jackets count!) you will get a second ticket! All raffle prizes will be pulled during the run, and you can check in and see if you won anything when you return. 

Post Run - After the run we will gather inside Stride Coffee. Drinks and food will be available for purchase.
