Start Line Corrals
So, what is a corral start? A corral start, sometimes also referred to as a wave start, is a way for larger races to reduce congestion at the start of a race, making the starts safe. Participants are placed in groups with other participants of similar pace per mile. The goal is that faster runners won’t have to weave around those running or walking at a slower pace.
During registration you will be asked to choose a start corral. Both the 10K and 4-mile events will start in the same corrals, so you can choose any of them. On event day, you will start in a corral with others who will be completing the courses at a pace similar to yours. If you would like to start with family or friends, be sure to sign up for the same corral start!

CHIP TIMING: Finishing times for awards and official results are based on when your chipped race bib crosses the start line, not the 8:00am start time. This is for CHIP TIMED starts only. Please select a CHIP TIMED corral start in order to appear on the results and be eligible for awards.
