Join us for an unforgettable trail experience among the stunning beauty of the Brecksville Reservation in the heart of the Cleveland Metroparks. Lace up your shoes and immerse yourself in the stunning fall foliage – a vibrant symphony of reds, oranges, and golds that can only be found during the peak of fall.
Our race logo pays homage to the whimsical Spotted, Redback, and Jefferson Salamanders that call Chippewa Creek their home. In the Spring, these tiny creatures embark on a journey from the woods to vernal breeding pools, symbolizing endurance and the spirit of exploration – qualities you'll embody as you tackle the Chippewa Creek Challenge.

Whether you're an experienced trail runner, or a beginning runner or hiker, Chippewa's course offers a mix of terrains and elevations that will challenge your body and invigorate your soul. - EARLY REGISTRATION (through September 26): $70
- REGULAR REGISTRATION (September 27 – October 16): $75

Race Day Details
- START TIME: 9:00 A.M. (5 hour cutoff: First loop should be completed in 2.5 hours; course sweepers will begin sweeping the course 15 minutes after the time to complete the first loop)
- EARLY PACKET PICKUP: Friday Noon-7:00 P.M. at Vertical Runner in Brecksville
- RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP: 7:30-9:00 A.M.
- AID STATIONS (Oak Grove – miles 6.5, 13.1) will serve the following:
- Hydration: Water, Skratch, Coke, ginger ale
- Salty snacks: Pickles, whole white potatoes (cold with salt), potato chips, pretzel nuggets with peanut butter
- Sweet snacks: Payday candy bars, fruit snacks Fig Newtons, Nutty Buddies, bananas
- Food (finish line only): Pumpkin roll, hot apple cider
- Additional fluid stations (miles 3.5, 6.5, 10) will serve water and Skratch hydration. Participants are encouraged to carry water.
