Legendary Lights 5K - 10K - Kids Run

The Legendary Lights 5K - 10K - Kids Run is back for its second year and is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.  And for 2026 we have added a new 10K race!

The Historic Clifton Mill displays over 4 million lights illuminating the mill, the gorge, the riverbanks, trees and bridges. The courses begin at the Clifton Shelter House and heads north on Clay Street out into the countryside on Tanyard Road, turning around and finishing back at the Shelter House.  Enjoy hot chocolate, donuts, and a surprise Christmas gift!  You may see some of your favorite Christmastime friends back again this year.

Your race registration includes admission into the nightly, award-winning, Legendary Lights Show and Christmas Village any evening during the 2026 season! 

New this year: after registering for a race and upon request, you will be emailed a ticket into the Legendary Lights.  The Lights begin the day after Thanksgiving, so you can attend before race day if you like!  Please visit the Clifton Mill website for more information.

Before or after the race, visit the Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. Just a short hike (less than a half mile) from the Mill and see where the Little Miami River funnels into a deep narrow canyon forming one of the most spectacular gorges in the state!
