Event Description
Please join us for the 54th running of the UACA Memorial Day Run on Monday, May 25, 2026. This year, we are bringing back an option for a 5-mile run (well, almost, at 4.9 miles). There will still be the same 5K and 1-mile courses everyone has enjoyed the last few years. The courses race through the crowd filled and fast streets of Upper Arlington providing a great experience for serious and casual runners alike. All proceeds will benefit the charitable functions of the UACA.
Participants will receive an official UACA Memorial Day Run event shirt and an official finisher’s Medal. Awards given to the top finishers of the 5K and 5Mile following the race.
NEW!! The top TWO TEAMS with the largest number of registered racers will win a fast-pass to skip the line for UACA’s Golden Bear Scare at Smith’s Park this October! (one pass to be used as a team)
NEW!! The first-place boy and girl age 10 and under to finish the 5K will each receive a guaranteed registration spot for UACA’s Christmas in the Park this December!

7:30 am: Registration Desk opens for any pre-arranged packed pick ups
8:20 am: Athletes in place behind starting line
8:25 am: Announcements and National Anthem
8:30 am: 5K/5M Run Begins
8:35 am: 1 Mile Race Begins
8:40 am: Walkers Begin
No race day packet pickup, be sure to attend packet pickup during one of the times listed
