Join the Eta Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for our inaugural “Walk With Me Sugar” 5K Run/Walk Against Diabetes — presented by Four Star Freightliner — a vibrant celebration of culture, health, and hope.
This FREE community event invites you to lace up your shoes and walk with purpose as we raise awareness about the devastating impact of diabetes—particularly within the African American community. Inspired by a term of endearment rooted in Black cultural tradition, “Walk With Me Sugar” honors our heritage, our loved ones, and our collective fight for wellness.

Chartered on November 19, 2020, the Eta Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. stands as a beacon of service, scholarship, and brotherhood in the Greater Columbus community. Founded with a mission to reclaim and re-engage inactive Omega men, the chapter quickly established itself as one of the most dynamic graduate chapters in the Fourth District (Ohio and West Virginia).
Eta Nu Nu's impact reaches across neighborhoods, schools, and city institutions. From mentoring programs and youth enrichment initiatives to health and civic engagement efforts, our chapter lives up to Omega's four cardinal principles: Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.
Our Work & Values
Eta Nu Nu leads a variety of programs and partnerships that aim to inspire, empower, and improve lives:
- Youth Mentorship & Education – Through initiatives like Breakfast with the Ques, Omega L.E.A.D.E.R.S., Chess for Success, and STEM clubs, we mentor hundreds of students each year, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
- Health Initiatives – We provide vital health screenings and awareness events, including our Survivorship Breast Cancer Event, Prostate Cancer Awareness Series, and Diabetes 5K Walk/Run, serving thousands of residents.
- Community Engagement – Eta Nu Nu maintains strong partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, and government agencies to address systemic disparities and drive meaningful change in Central Ohio.
- Scholarship & Arts Support – Eta Nu Nu has awarded over $520,000 in scholarships to students from more than 35 high schools across Central Ohio, while also supporting performance arts education and cultural programs that uplift and enrich our community.
