2025 DTOS Turkey Chase 5k and Fun Run: (non-chip timed)

After taking a few years off due to the construction of the new SE equestrian center and the long-awaited bridge completion—Durant’s favorite trail race is back! We are thrilled to host a brand-new course that takes runners across the new Dr. Thomas Newsom Bridge and through the scenic Crooked Smile Trail that showcase everything we’ve been waiting for to bring back the 6th Annual Durant Turkey Chase 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run.

Register by 11/14 to guarantee a tshirt. Rain or Severe Weather plan will be across the street at Bloomer Sullivan Gym. Packet pickup will be the morning of race at VPAC Parking lot- look for signs! Proceeds benefit the Durant Trails and Open Space, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes public awareness of our natural and cultural resources with dedication to establishing, protecting and maintaining trails, river restoration and wildlife habitat within Durant and extending into Bryan County. We are committed to providing education and low impact recreation as well as inspiring stewardship of our environment for family and community, now and generations to come.
