Our annual fundraising race for Western PA CARES for Kids offers 2 different timed events, a community walk, and fun for the whole family!

Free picnic lunch for all racers and spectators
Great raffles including gift cards and tickets to theme parks and sporting events
Our race, held in the beautiful Cook Forest State Park, will be held July 19, 2025 at Shelter 2.
The Duathlon consists of a 3.1 mile run then a 12 mile bike ride and ends with another 2 mile run. Many participate in this event as teams of 2 or 3, but this event can also be done solo. The 5K is a 3.1 mile race on a mix of trails and paved roads in Cook Forest. These events are timed with the exception of the community walk which is a two mile walk. All those who are pre-registered by June 16th will receive a free t-shirt. There is also a free picnic lunch provided to all racers and spectators following the event.
