Cabo Verdean 5K Mission Statement

The Cabo Verdean 5K was founded to support, uplift, and provide resources to individuals with breast cancer, their caregivers, families, and communities across Cabo Verde Islands.

Our goal is to provide medical assistance, donations, equipment and increase awareness, reduce stigma associated with breast cancer; through education, promoting healthy living, early detection, and annual screening.

Our vision is to close the gap in breast cancer care In Cabo Verde Island and open facilities in each Island for breast cancer treatment.

Walk start time is 8:30 a.m.

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 8PM ON JULY 24 AT 8PM

On-Site Registration, Race number and T-shirt pick-up.
Friday, July 24, 2026: Marathon Sports, Level 1, Providence Place, 1 Providence place RI 02903. Parking is FREE for the first 2 hours at Providence place. Best location to park for packet pickup is at Level 1.
Packet pickup time:  Noon to 6p.m.
Entry fees for Friday: $38. Kids race $20.

Saturday, Race Day, July 25, 2025, 7:45 a.m. to start of 5k race at 9:00 am.
The 1 mile walk will start at 8:30am
