The aid station closing times are firm. Cut-off times are departure times, NOT arrival times. If you’re not out of the station by the cut-off, your race is over. Aid station staff also have the authority to pull you from the course if it is clear that you are physically unable to continue in a safe manner. You may defer your registration to another Wolf Creek Race Management event of the same or shorter distance.
In order to begin the deferral process, you must email info@wolfcreektrackclub.com with the event that you would like to switch from and to.

No Dropping Down in Distance – After the transfer deadline, one month out from race weekend, you can no longer switch event distances. Rabid Raccoon 100 Qualifying Standards
The Rabid Raccoon 100 offers two clear paths to qualification:
🦝 100 Mile
-
All finishers qualify
-
This applies to those who finished the 100 Mile in 2025
-
It also applies to all finishers at the 2026 race
🦝 100K
-
Finish under 22 hours to qualify
-
The same standard applies to both 2025 and 2026
You can learn more about how races earn qualifier status directly from Western States here:
Once you earn a qualifier, the next step is applying to Western States’ lottery system. Full details on how the process works—including ticket counts, lottery rules, and timelines—can be found here:

The course consists of a 12.5 mile loop. The loop is mostly single track trail, but also has a mix of gravel, pavement, and grass. There is significant elevation gain and loss as well as a creek crossing.
All this being said, the race is great for beginers due to the numerous oportunities for aid. The entire course is runnable, but there are some moderately technical sections due to roots. If there is rain, expect mud.
The 100 mile has over 15,000 feet of gain.
The 100K has over 9,500 feet of gain.
The half marathon has over 1,800 feet of gain.
There are two aid station locations at the race and both are accessible for crews.
The Four Seasons (https://maps.app.goo.gl/gpxM91Pmv6c1X7JYA)
- The Four Seasons aid station is hit twice per loop.
- There is plenty of parking available.
- The parking lot right next to the Four Seasons Pavillion is only open to staff and volunteers.
- Please note: Bradys Run Road will be closed during the race so you will need to drive around to access the Four Seasons from the Rec. Center.
The Rec. Center (https://maps.app.goo.gl/HNQeH51HZuTh9fhe7)
- This is the main aid station as well as the start/finish.
- There are reserved spots in the Rec. Center which will be clearly marked. All remaining space inside is on a first come first serve basis.
- There is no waitlist for the reserved spots in the Rec. Center. Once they are gone, they are gone.
- There will be plenty of spots left for crew at both aid stations, just not in those prime reserved spots.
- The parking lot is also available for crews to set up camp and help their runners.
The easiest way is to drive around by turning right off Bradys Run Road onto Constitution Blvd., turn right on Wildwood Road, turn right on Dutch Ridge Road, turn right on Park Road, turn right on Bradys Run Road.
