Parking: Street parking available near Independence Ave. SW and Constitutional Ave NW and other surrounding streets. Please review all street parking signs before leaving your vehicle. The 'closest' metro stop is the Smithsonian, however, please keep in mind that while this is the 'closest' stop it is a 25–30-minute walking distance to the Lincoln Memorial, so additional public transport might be needed.
Event Day Schedule:
- 7:00 AM: Registration/Packet Pickup
- 8:00 AM: Opening Ceremony
- 8:30 AM: 1-2 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- 9:30 AM(estimate): Closing Ceremony & Awards
Important Information:
- Packet Pick-Up: Pick up your race bib and t-shirt at the Packet Pick Up Tent between 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM.
- Donations: Supporters can donate on your personal fundraising page or through the main page.
- What to Wear: Race to Cure Sarcoma shirt or your team shirt!
- On-Site Registration: Available from 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM. Adults: $35.00 Children (6-12): $10.00
- What to Bring: Photo or note for the Wall of Hope and Remembrance (Photos will not be returned so please make sure it is a copy).
- Pre-Race: Join us for inspirational speakers, a Survivor Ceremony, music, and kids' activities.
- Post-Race: Award ceremony for top finishers, fundraisers, and teams, plus music and kids' activities.
- Photos: A professional photographer will be at the event. Share your photos using @CureSarcoma and #RTCSWASHINGTONDC. You can email photos to events@curesarcoma.org.
- Team Tailgating: Teams can bring a 10x10 tent and table. Email events@curesarcoma.org to reserve a spot.
