In consideration of accepting this entry, I, the parent or legal guardian of the child participant, intending to be legally bound, do hereby waive, release, and hold harmless the Event Director, 406 Running LLC, RunSignup.com, all event sponsors, partners, volunteers, and employees from any and all claims or liabilities for injury, loss, or damages that may arise out of or in connection with my child’s participation in the Kids Dash N Pedal, whether arising from negligence or otherwise.
I acknowledge and accept that participation in a children’s running and biking event carries potential risks, including but not limited to: falls, collisions, weather-related conditions, and other risks commonly associated with outdoor activities. I confirm that my child is physically able and properly trained to participate in this event and that I have consulted a licensed medical provider if necessary. I agree that I am solely responsible for my child’s well-being during the event and assume all risks on their behalf.
In the event of illness, accident, or emergency, I authorize the Event Director or medical personnel to obtain treatment deemed necessary for my child’s care. I understand that I am responsible for any and all medical costs incurred as a result of such treatment.
I also grant full permission for any photographs, videos, recordings, or other media of my child’s participation in this event to be used for promotional and legitimate purposes by the event and its partners, without compensation.
This event adheres to the standard policy of no refunds. I understand and accept that entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, even in the case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, natural disaster, or other emergencies beyond the event’s control.
By signing and submitting this entry, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child participating, and I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this waiver and release of liability.
