Resolution Run 5K

What is the Resolution Run?

It’s a New Year’s party on the pavement! The Resolution Run 5K brings runners to the Flats East Bank for a road race with a throwback twist, featuring music and vibes from the ’60s through the 2000s. Every step helps support the Hunger Network and their mission to fight hunger across Northeast Ohio.

Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup:

7:30 – 8:45 AM (inside Good Night John Boy, 1167 Front Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113)
Please arrive at least 1 hour before the start to collect your packet.
Early Packet Pickup dates will be listed here closer to the race!

Race Day Schedule:

Early Bird (through Dec 1): $30
Standard (Dec 2 – Jan 1): $35
Late/Day-of: $40

Virtual Registration: $35

Timing, Results & Awards

Officially timed with disposable bib tag system (chip attached to back of bib).
Results posted online immediately after the race and via QR codes at the finish line.

Request award delivery to your next Hermes race (email roadracing@hermescleveland.com)
Awards are not mailed and must be claimed within 30 days.

Previous 5K Results

Refunds, Transfers & Deferrals

Similar to a concert or airline ticker, entries are non-refundable and non-transferable to next year.
You may transfer your entry to another runner or to virtual for free before packet pickup.
- To transfer: log into RunSignUp > Profile > “Gift Transfer.”

If you can’t attend, you can pick up your shirt/packet at the Hermes office the following week (call ahead: 216-623-9933).
Those who transfer from LIVE to VIRTUAL will still need to pick up their race packets - packets will not be mailed for those who transfer to virtual.

Miscellaneous

Volunteers welcome! Email sbaron@hermescleveland.com. Volunteers receive a race shirt + novelty finisher medal.
Walkers welcome. Toward the end, walkers may be asked to move to the sidewalk.
Pre-Race Communication: A packet pickup reminder will be emailed race week. Current info is always on the Resolution Run webpage.
Bag Check: Not available
Dogs & Strollers: Welcome, but please line up at the back for safety. Dogs must be on a short leash and next the the owner at all times.
Course: Scenic route along the Cuyahoga River with one hill mid-course
Course Time Limit: About 1 hour (police determine closure for safety)
Weather: Varies year to year—could be snowy teens or sunny 40s. Check forecast!
Parking: Street metered parking along with paid parking lots are available all around the Start Line.
