Rocket City Marathon

The 1 Mile Family Friendly Run/Walk is a new addition to the Rocket City Marathon Race Weekend. This end will take place on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12th at 10:15 AM. All runners and walkers are encourage to participate in the 1 mile health initiative. This is for all ages and skill levels.

The 1 Mile Race Course (in Red):

All participants will receive a race t shirt with their packet and a medal at the finish line.

The 1 mile will not be timed and no awards will be given. This is a strictly a fun run/walk.

Due to liability insurance requirements, and for the safety of all runners, the following are not allowed during the race:

skateboards
bicycles
animals
roller blades

unauthorized vehicles
unregistered runners

In addition the use of headphones is strongly discouraged.

Strollers and baby joggers must start in the back of the pack and are not allowed to race.
