It's that time of year again- The Annual Caroline Project Virtual Challenge. We are so excited to have some special things in store for this event this year. Join us once again in partnering with your neighbors, students, friends, co-workers, and family to complete any activity during the days of June 1st-11th.
We know many of you enjoy biking, hiking, walking, running, kayaking, and more. Enjoy any physical activity while remembering those who have lost their lives to suicide. In memory of Caroline make sure to take your pets with you.
In SC in 2021 we lost 811 people to suicide. Many SC communities have seen an increase in suicide rates. The impact is devastating.
Register at our eventbrite site for $30 in honor of Caroline's 30th birthday. We will send you a t-shirt to wear while you complete your challenge. Partner with others in your area and send our link to help us raise money. Remember to take lots of pictures and send them to us at email@example.com. Tag us on social media with the hashtag, #bowandarrowcenterofhope, #thecarolineproject, and #heroesforhope. We want to share in your fun.
To add some additional fun this year we will have a celebration on June 11th. It will be a day to spread hope and have fun. This event will be at the Pete Smith Complex from 9-11:30.
We will have our new Cones for A Cause Icee Stand (icees for a fee), free stuff, tables set up by community partners, Blood Drive, cornhole, and community members sharing personal stories of hope. You don't want to miss it.
For extra excitement we would like to invite everyone to dress up as your favorite superhero. This will help remind our community that there are Heroes for Hope.
We can ALL spread hope to others.
Thank you for partnering with the Caroline Project to help Bow and Arrow Center of Hope. Bow and Arrow Center of Hope is a nonprofit established in Abbeville SC. Bow and Arrow's mission is to partner with individuals, families, and the community to foster hope, wellness, and to restore quality of life by addressing mental, social, and emotional needs. The vision of Bow and Arrow is to imagine a healthy, strong, united community where all people are valued, accepted, and empowered to live healthy lives.
