Celebrate Halloween with a Marathon (new this year!), Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids Fun Run on the trails at Stable View equestrian facility: over 1,000 acres of gently rolling hills bordered by canopies of forest.

As you tread the trails lined with longleaf pines, you're not just part of a race, but also of a grander vision: Stable View's commitment to conserving and celebrating the region's natural splendor, including efforts to bring back the Red-cockaded woodpecker. It's more than a race; it's a gathering place, a cause, and an unforgettable challenge.

Times are based on the start times above.

• The trail system is a mix of sand, clay, soil and grass surfaces with some single track on the Half Marathon and Marathon routes. The Marathon route will have 2-3 road crossings.
• Start and Finish are in the same location.
• Annnddd... keep an eye out for the Headless Horseman "galloping" through the woods!

Follow event parking signs and head to The Pavilion @ Stable View for Packet Pick Up at the Start/Finish. The Pavilion is a 3-story building with three flags flying on top.

Aid stations with water and Nuun will be positioned throughout the courses.

• Packet Pick Up @ Stable View Pavilion from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Yoga Class with Cate @ Stable View at 6:00 PM (mats and blocks provided). Stretch it out after picking up your packet!

Participants who wear costumes are automatically entered into the annual Fall Trailblazer Costume Contest! Awards are given for:

• Most Unique
• The Scariest
• Best Superhero
• Best Family & Friends Group

Whether you've trained for a marathon, half marathon, 10K, or 5K before or if it's your first time, there are plenty of options to help keep you focused! Of course it is always fun to train with a group. If it is convenient, the Columbia Running Club is awesome, as well as the Augusta, Aiken and Greenville running clubs.

If you live nearby, The Aiken Trails Club @ Stable View is perfect as you'll be training on the actual trails in the race. If none of these are convenient, just google running clubs in your area. There are also a couple of great apps that can help you. Two of our favorites are the Nike Running Club and Runna.

For those wishing to stay near the Start Line or linger after the race, Stable View offers contemporary lodging and RV Hook Ups, perfect for easing those post-race muscles. Enjoy the peaceful country setting while remaining close to dining, sightseeing, and shopping in historic downtown Aiken.

Weekday rates are available for all accommodation types during the Trailblazer weekend and automatically applied to stays from October 23-25, 2026. Overall awards go to the top 3 female and male finishers for the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. Award details will be posted closer to race day.
