Leander Outrun the Sun Virtual 5K

Join us as we celebrate a momentous occasion hosted by the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center! This year, seize the opportunity to participate in a special Leander 5K event. All participants will receive custom color spinning medals commemorating the Total Eclipse, and for those seeking the ultimate challenge, sign up for the Trilogy, completing all three Leander races to earn the coveted 2024 stacking medal!

Event Details and Medal Pick-Up:

EVENT: The Leander Outrun the Sun Virtual 5K DETAILS: The Outrun the Sun 5K will take place virtually, allowing participants to complete it at their convenience.

MEDAL PICK-UP: Race medals for the Outrun the Sun Virtual 5K can be collected in person at The Street Dance Stride 5K on Saturday, June 1st, between 11 am - 5 pm, or at the Rudolph Run 5K on Saturday, December 7th, between 11 am - 5 pm, located at 100 N Brushy St., Leander, TX 78641.

Please note: The Outrun the Sun 5K has transitioned from an in-person to a virtual event, allowing participants to earn all three medals (for the Outrun the Sun 5K - virtual, Street Dance Stride 5K - Saturday, June 1st, and the Old Town Rudolph Run 5K - Saturday, December 7th) and complete their trilogy stacking medals.  

*****To receive all three medals, participants must attend the Old Town Rudolph Run in person and collect their medals. 

*****If you need your medal to be mailed, there will be an additional fee and will be mailed in December. Please call the office at (512) 259-1907. Otherwise, all medals must be picked up in person.
