Description
The Meadows Turkey Trot is back!!
What: A family-friendly walk, run, bike, or scooter 5k through the Meadows.
When: Thanksgiving Day- The clubhouse opens at 8:30am, whistle blows at 8:45am.
Where: Course begins and ends at the Meadows Clubhouse- 32126 Kendal Ridge Lane
Who: Everyone is welcome to participate! (Pets too!)
How: To participate you must first register here and bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to the Montgomery County Food Bank.
Swag:
- T-shirts are available this year! Cost is $15 per shirt/ $17 for XL, 2XL, and 3XL and can be ordered as you register below.
- The first 10 people to register will receive a free turkey hat!
- All participants will receive a finishers ribbon!
- Trotters can have fun looking for hidden toy turkeys on the course. (Just keep one per participant please so there's enough for the others.)
*Please note that roads will not be closed for the event. Turkey Trotter's should plan to stay on sidewalks and participate at their own risk. The race course will be well marked and the course map can be found below.

Course Instructions and Map
The Turkey Trot will be held in the Meadows at Imperial Oaks neighborhood. There will be two 1.55 mile loops to run the full 5k. You are welcome to do one loop or challenge yourself with the two. Start and Finish line will be right at the Meadows clubhouse. The course will be well marked!
- Start heading West on Kendall Ridge Dr
- Left on sidewalk just before Imperial Grove
- Left on Imperial Grove
- Left on Forest Oak
- Right on Woodland Glen
- Continue to the dead end and turn around
- Left on the Forest Oak fork
- Left on Imperial Grove
- Left on Wildwood Park
- Left on Imperial Grove
- Right on the sidewalk just before Kendal Ridge Dr.
- Finish at the Clubhouse for 1.55 miles or take a second loop for the full 5k.
