The Ring: Fun Size

The Massanutten Ring is a brutal and challenging ride that only the best and bravest take on. We wanted to put together a route that mimicked the Ring but in a slightly more mellow form and with a little less gnar so mere mortals could contemplate finishing it in a day and remain in one piece. So born was The Ring: Fun Size, a 100K ride taking on the Northern Massanutten range with less rock punishment, more gravel, and rideable single track. With just over 7800’ of elevation gain and loss, the testing climbs remain, and of course, you still get to ride some of that legendary rocky single track. The route is still challenging, but we think that you will like it a lot.

Also included is the rental of one of our amazing GPS trackers to keep you company, record your splits, and clock your final time. Fire up the tracker, pass through the starting location to start your clock, and then ride the course.  Route, splits, and time are recorded by the tracker and uploaded in real time to our leaderboard. Your clock automatically stops when you reach the designated finish area. The leaderboard will be ongoing and fluid as other participants complete the challenge, so you can see how you stacked up against others, compare splits, and track final times.
