Description
An 5k & Obstacle Course 5k will be on Oct. 5, 2019.
The Smith Mountain Lake YMCA and The Willard Companies are pleased to present an outdoor festival sampling of Smith Mountain Lake's most fun fitness opportunities, with an amazing musical headliner in singer-songwriter Morgan Wade. Fun for all ages and fitness levels! Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music.
Early admission is $10 and day of admission is $12. Children 4 to 12 admission is $5. Children 3 and under free. The event will be held rain or shine.
The 5K Trail Race will start at 10:30 a.m. and the 5k Obstacle Course will start at 10:45 a.m. at Westlake Towne Center, wind through the Jack-O-Lantern Branch Heritage Trail at the Booker T. Washington National Monument and end at SML Fall Fit Fest.
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female runners and obstacle course participants.
Race registration is $25 and $15 for participants 13 and younger. Race giveaway will be given to the first 100 who register. All proceeds benefit the Franklin County Family YMCA.
