As a Dual Role Volunteer, you will manage the only water station for the 5K runners as well as the 6th water stop on the half marathon runners.
Responsibilities:

-Distribute GU packets only to half marathon runners.
-Cheer on and encourage participants to keep them motivated.

As Course Marshal #5 at the split point on Preto Blvd, your role is to ensure runners follow the correct routes. As soon as the runners pass, move across the street to position #16. The corner of Playmore and Preto.
Responsibilities:
-Direct 5K runners to turn onto the opposite side of Preto Blvd.
-Direct half marathon runners to their right onto Playmore Rd.
-Provide encouragement and support to all participants.
-Once all runners have passed, proceed across the street to the corner of Playmore and Preto directing runners towards the last water stop for the half marathon.
-Remain attentive to all runners and notify race officials of any problems, injuries, or concerns.
-Stay at your station until released by a race official or the final runners have passed.
