Details

As a course helper, you might be needed in a variety of different ways. We will need volunteers to help direct runners out on the course. We will also need volunteers to help maintain the obstacles and make sure everyone is safely completing each obstacle.

You will be given a Zombie Response Team t-shirt to wear at event. This will allow participants to know who the helpers are.

Location

Meet Mrs. Schram by the concession stand between 4:30-4:45 to find out where you will be needed out on the course.

Zombies on course

Details

Only teachers/staff and students in fitness P.E. are allowed to be zombies. Make-up can be done in the small gym starting at 2:35 by the Art Club. If you need zombie attire, see Mrs. Presson. The task coordinator (Jene Frey) will let you know where your position will be out on the course.

Meet for group picture at 4:45.
Kids Run at 5:00. Don't chase kids for Kids Run. We will be handing them one flag to survive.
Zombie Run at 5:30- you pull flags (but not on obstacles or in zombie free zones)

*Group Picture at 4:45 on the football field.
*You are NOT allowed to take flags from participants while they are on the obstacles or in zombie free zones.

Location

Meet Mrs. Frey near the concession stand by 4:30 to find your position out on the course.

*Group picture at 4:45 on the football field. Then you will go to your spot on course for the Kids run which starts at 5:00. Then Zombie Run is at 5:30.

Make-up Artists

Minimum met, 15 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

To volunteer as a make-up artists you must either be in art club or have approval from Mrs. Keller or Mrs. Presson. You will be transforming the living into the dead! Please make sure you have the materials you will need ready to go by 2:30 - 3:00 in the small gym. Tables will be set up. You may want to research cool zombie looks to replicate on your clientele.
There will be food available in a hospitality room for all Make-Up artists during the event.

Tables will be available for you in the small gym. Be ready to go around 2:30 - 3:00. Many students and teachers will need to be transformed!

Pre-Registration Table

Details

You will be helping hand out packets and t-shirts to those who have already registered online.

Location

Meet in the large gym. Registration will open at 3:00 and will go until 5:15.

Race Day Registration Table

Details

You will be helping runners who have not yet registered. They will need to fill out paperwork and pay the $30 registration fee for Zombie Run. Kids run will be $30 on race day as well. You will also be handing out t-shirts if there are any left over.

Meet in the large gym. Race day registration will be from 3:00 - 5:30

Photographer

Minimum met, 3 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

We are in need of several photographers to take pictures throughout the entire event. This would include pictures of make-up artists doing make-up, pictures of the zombies both on and off the course, tons of pictures out on the course during the race, etc. This year we will have a photo booth that we will need to station 1 photographer to take pictures for anyone that wants to pose with a zombie.
