Details

Need not be professional! Take photos throughout the event, and coordinate with other vol. photographers so that different areas are covered.
Must be willing to send photos to Race Director within 1 week of event completion. If you are professional, we will recognize your business on social media, and leave watermarks on shared photos. Photos will be shared on social media (Facebook and Instagram), newsletter and website.

Details

Setup before event (requires physical ability). Setup of tables and chairs, putting out signs, directing and assisting vendors and sponsors as they arrive, set up of food and water table, and any other general assistance that the Race Director needs. Great for older kids (10+) to help with!

Details

After event, folding up of tables and chairs- moving them to side, packing up remaining food/water, loading into people's cars. Picking up garbage and boxes. Taking down signs. Other items as delegated by Race Director.

WE NEED HEAVY LIFTERS!!! It is not required for all tasks, but it will definitely help with larger items.
Great for older kids to assist!

Registration Table Assistant Low Priority

You must be 15-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Set up and organize registration table before the event; Be at registration table to help with folding and giving out shirts as people arrive, check in and give swag bags, help direct people with where to go after they register, and put things away after registration is complete.
There will be a task director there who will be handling sales using credit cards, so you won't have to worry about that!

Water station coordinator Medium Priority

You must be 10-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Set up your water station- filling small cups from water jugs, and setting them out. Bringing garbage bag along with you (we will provide) to throw empty cups away. As walkers/runners pass, hand out cups of water, and make sure cups make it into garbage (great for older kids to help with!), refill cups as needed, and cheer on the walkers and runners as they go by! At end of event, pack up remaining cups and water and bring back to main area.

Assistant at Kids Event High Priority

Details

Assist Kids Event Coordinator with setup of event, assist with running the event, directing parents and kids as needed, handing out snack and water at end of event. Help pick up equipment after event completed. Great for older kids to help with!

Activities Assistant Medium Priority

You must be 14-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Supervise bounce house (limit kids jumping, make sure shoes are off, get kids in and out if there is a line of other kids waiting) and encourage people to come do the Climb (adults, too!)-- there will be professional attendants at the Rock Climbing Wall, but we will want some people who can come direct people, take donations, etc.
**There are shifts for this task, so that you do not need to commit to doing this for the entire event, unless you would like to!

Cheerleaders High Priority

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

Kids, teens, adults needed to cheer walkers and runners along the race route. No need to move a lot, just be loud and fun!

Photo booth assistant Medium Priority

Snap photos, hand out props, write down contact info so people can be sent their photos (or tagged).
