Lead or Follow each race. Lead must be able to stay ahead of fastest runner, ideally would like to have 1-2 leads and follows for each distance.

Help make sure all runners follow the course by directing them at turn locations through out at correct location and do not run pass location

This is a critical location with runners passing by three times!!!

Volunteers will need to check in with race staff at finish/ start line by 8am to insure you get to your location in time for race which starts at 9:00am. Volunteers can return to finish line line after both 10k and 5k follow bike has passed your station.

Course Marshal: Burins Lane and Mesilla Drain Trail

Help make sure all runners follow the course by directing directing runners through this critical location.

You will be directing 10k runners to turn on to Mesilla Drain Trail and then back onto main course when they return as will as instructing 5k runners to continue past along Bruins Lane.

Volunteers will need to check in with race staff at finish/ start line by 8am to insure you get to your location in time for race which starts at 9:00am. Volunteers can return to finish line line after both 10k and 5k follow bike has passed your station the last time

Course Marshal: Motel BLVD and FOD gate Medium Priority

Help make sure all runners follow the course by directing them both as runners leave and return to FOD parking lot and do not run wrong way

Volunteers will need to check in with race staff at finish/ start line by 8am to insure you get to your location in time for race which starts at 9:00am. Volunteers can return to finish line line after both 10k and 5k follow bike has passed your station for last time

Course Marshal: East end of Bruins Lane by MHS

1 Mile Turn around Medium Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Help make sure all one milers turn around at correct location.

Volunteers will need to check in with race staff at finish/ start line by 8am to insure you get to your location in time for race which starts at 8:30am. Then at 8:50am you may start walking back toward finish line and turn around any runners with 1mile bibs which have not made it to the official turn around, so as to clear the course for the start of the10k at 9am

Finish Line crew Low Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Help make sure all 10K'ers run this section of course successfully as they will head out and back through this critical section.

Volunteers will need to check in with race staff at finish/ start line by 8am to insure you get to your location in time for race which starts at 9:00am. Then when trail bike passes location, break down site.

Water Stations

Water Station / 10k Turn Around High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Help make sure all 10K'ers turn around at correct location on OutFlow Channel Path and do not run pass location

Volunteers will need to check in with race staff at finish/ start line by 8am to insure you get to your location in time for race which starts at 9:00am. Then when trail bike passes location, break down site.

Location

West end of out flow channel past Burke lane. Will provide map and directions. Volunteer station will also setup and breakdown water station.

Water Station at Bruins Lane and Mesilla Drain trail High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Set up and break down water station you are assigned.

Check in at start finish line at 8:00am to pick up your station supplies. then head out to your assigned station and have set up by 8:30am

Bring back supplies after event and clean up area

Key point as 10k runner will turn onto trail and 5k runners will continue forward
