Banana Donation Pick Up - Saturday, July 12

Pick up the important post-race fuel bananas from Stop & Shop in New City, and bring them to Rockland Lake July 13 the morning of the race at 6:30am.

Saturday banana pick up at Stop and Shop in New City.
Sunday morning bring them to Rockland Lake, north parking lot.

Ice Donation Pick Up (morning of the race, July 13)

Details

Pick up 3 sleeves (5 bags per sleeve) of ice from a gas station of your choice and bring to race at 6:30am.

Kids Race Volunteers - 6:45am

Assist with gathering the kids for the kids race .

Location

Gather all kids running the kids race and lead them to the start.

Corral Marshalls - By 7:40 am

Details

Hold pace signs up at the start of the race marking the pace corrals. This job can be combined with the course set up job as well.

Location

Start of race, North Parking Lot.

Water Stop - Report directly to the water stop by 7:30am

Minimum met, 2 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Fill up and hand out water to participants at the water stop. Also encourage and cheer for participants as well.

Location

Water stop on inner loop of Rockland Lake at South parking lot. Be at the water stop by 7:30.

Finish Line

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Hand out water, keep people out of finish line chute, and runners moving along, and hand out medals to finishers.

Location

North Lot, Rockland Lake, finish line . Report by 7:45

Course Break Down and Clean up - After race, 9:30am

Assist in all things clean up and take down.

Location

Report to Rockland Lake , north lot by 9:00am. (Earlier if you are helping with other job, or if you don't want to pay to enter. Lake begins charging at 8:00am)

An anonymous donor has sponsored a cheer section and their wish is to see men come together in support of the women on the race course! So whether you’re a Rockland Road Runners member, a husband or father of a race participant, or a local advocate for the Center for Safety & Change, come with your spirit and loudest cheering voices!
