We will need more than 100 people on race day to make everything Gritty happen! Volunteers like you are the backbone of this event so please sign up today (even if you want to run the Gritty but can help before and/or after).

All volunteers who sign up for this task are expected to report at 6:00 am on Saturday May 13th for coffee, breakfast, and briefing. Volunteer tasks range in duty from registering runners and distributing water, to saving grit caked people from hills of mud! It will be a long day, but food and drink will be provided. All Gritty volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt, meals on Gritty day, and other special opportunities.

This is Gretna Glen's largest fundraiser and luckily you can get in on the fundraising action too! All volunteers are capable of setting up a fundraiser page and bring friends and family into the Gritty experience by asking them to support Gretna Glen's flagship fundraiser!
