Race Day Volunteer (Setup - Packet Pickup - Cleanup)

Upstate Race Series will need volunteers for a 3 hour block during the initial setup, packet pickup, and through race registration cleanup.

Setup - setting up tents, tables, timing equipment
Packet Pickup - handing out race bibs and event materials
Cleanup - Cleaning up tent, tables, timing equipment

Volunteer Requirement
- Lift 40 pounds
- Smart Phone w/ Internet
- Downloaded Race Day Check-in App.

An email from our volunteer coordinator will be sent out the week of the race detailing your volunteer duty and how you can claim your race entry for this event or a future event

Tear Down

Details

The role of our tear-down volunteers will be assisting our race staff and race director in quickly but cleanly packing up timing equipment, the aid station, and any other staging area materials like cones or tents. These individuals should be able to drive, lift at least 50 pounds, and have a hop to it attitude. In the event these hours occur prior to daylight hours please be equipped with a headlamp and any other apparel needs depending on the setting (indoor or outdoor / cold rainy)
