Obstacle Volunteers

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

Each obstacle with have 1-2 volunteers. Volunteers at each obstacle will provide guidance, support participants, and encourage safety.

Aid Station Volunteers

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

Each aid station will have 1-2 volunteers. Water will be served at 7 locations on the course. A first aid kit will be available at each station.

Post Race Food/Drink

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist participants who have completed the race with access post race food and drink items. These volunteers will ensure water is cool, trash is well controlled and participants have access to food/drink.

Finish Line Volunteers

Minimum met, 2 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Volunteers at the finish line will pass out medals and encourage participants to clear area for other runners.

Concession Stand Volunteers

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist in selling concession stand items to participants and spectators.

Race Day Registration/Front Gate Volunteers

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist registered participants to access their packet and racing bib. This volunteer slot will take place Saturday, Rock the Desert from 6:00am- 9:00am.

Midland Athletic Company Registration Volunteers

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will assist registered participants to access their packet and racing bib. This volunteer slot will take place Friday, October 14, 10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm at Midland Athletic Company.

Spectator Ticket Sales Volunteer

Minimum met, 1 volunteer spot remaining.

Details

Each spectator ticket costs $5. These can be purchased through RunSignUp, with cash on race day, or with a credit card on race day. Volunteers with assist spectators with this process and place wrist bands.

Swag Sales Volunteer

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Swag will be available for purchase on race day. Volunteers will help with this process.

Bag Check

Minimum met, 1 volunteer spot remaining.

Emcee

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Event Break Down and Set Up
