It is a about a 1-mile walk. You will provide water and or other available nutrition to racers. Cheer and keep racers motivated. This is a cool spot to be because you get to see the bikes coming through as well. You can bring music if you have a speaker system you don’t mind taking out there. You can bring a mountain bike and helmet to bike to the station. Must have a helmet if on a bike (insurance rule)
Tear down: After last runner goes by (we will call or radio to let you know)
Dump out the Gatorade/HEED drink first well off the main trail. Then rinse with some of the water cooler. Fold up table and leave the cooler, table, cups and gels
If you are able to, on your way back stack cones, and pull up stakes and signs. You can put these into small piles to help with clean-up
