Details

Pickup rental shuttle vehicle from Enterprise and/or drive vans to transport runners and volunteers between check-in at Black Diamond Equipment and the Church Fork Aid Station. All the information you will need to be successful will be provided to drivers before the event. The shuttle schedule is optimized to meet the varying demand throughout the event; you are welcome to sign up for more than one shift!

This activity will involve helping Mike McMonagle with breaking down and packing up the aid station, making numerous very short trips to the base camp in Church Fork, breaking down and packing up tents, shelving, etc., and loading the U-Haul truck

This aid station is a short walk from the main Millcreek road where the shuttle will drop off volunteers. While there will be heat and food, volunteers MUST come prepared for extremely cold conditions. Volunteers are expected to take the shuttle to and from this aid station, see website (upforairseries.org) for details.

Tasks may include preparing food and serving runners, washing dishes, and other regular aid station tasks.

While there will be heat and food, volunteers MUST come prepared for extremely cold conditions. Tasks may include preparing food and serving runners, washing dishes, helping with timing and runner tracking, keeping drink containers filled, and other regular aid station tasks.

These volunteers will be stationed in the Timing Tent and will be responsible for timing and runner tracking using Open Split Time.

This volunteer will coordinate with Summit Volunteers as they arrive, communicating with the Summit to send supplies/etc., and will assist with other regular aid station tasks such as serving runners and/or helping in the kitchen.

This volunteer will be responsible for checking in runners and distributing race bibs for the Saturday afternoon 6-hour event from about 10:30am to 12:00pm, and otherwise assisting at the Church Fork Aid Station.
